1. About these terms

By creating an account or using Locator League, you agree to these terms. The service is operated by BEAKONHUB LIMITED, company number 12587471, registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 427 Ashton Old Road, Manchester, M11 2DL.

2. Learners and accounts

Locator League is a learning platform for people of all ages. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to review these terms and help you use the service safely. Provide accurate information, keep your password and sign-in token secure, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. The service

Locator League provides browser-automation learning challenges, code execution, progress tracking, and leaderboards. The MVP is free. We may improve, replace, suspend, or withdraw features, but will take reasonable care to avoid unnecessary disruption.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• attack, probe, overload, evade limits, or interfere with Locator League or connected systems;
• submit malware, attempt to escape the execution sandbox, or access another user’s information;
• use the service to target a website except as a challenge reasonably requires;
• cheat, manipulate scores, impersonate others, or use the service unlawfully;
• copy or redistribute protected platform content beyond what applicable law permits.

5. Your code and platform content

You retain rights you hold in code you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, execute, analyse, display, and store it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Locator League software, challenge text, branding, and other platform content remain owned by us or our licensors.

6. Availability and learning information

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Locator League is an educational tool, not a guarantee of employment, certification, exam success, or any particular professional outcome.

7. Suspension and closure

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, serious or repeated breach, or protection of other users. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from consumer use of this free service.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Questions can be sent to support@locatorleague.dev.
